Atelier RouvièreBespoke joinery and fitted furniture · Bristol

This is a demonstration website. Atelier Rouvière is not a real company: the business, its address, its phone number and its reviews are invented. The site exists as a public test fixture for Indexonic, so that AI-visibility audits can be run against a realistic ordinary website.

How we work

Four steps, no surprises, and a fixed price before anything is cut.

  1. Visit and measure. We come to you, look at the space, and take our own measurements. This visit is free within 20 miles of Bristol and takes about an hour.
  2. Drawings and a fixed quote. You get a scale drawing and a written quote, itemised so you can see what the timber costs and what the labour costs. The quote is held for 90 days.
  3. Making. Everything is made in the Feeder Road workshop. Lead time is usually six to eight weeks; we will tell you the real date, not an optimistic one.
  4. Fitting. We fit, scribe and adjust on site, then clear up after ourselves. Painted work is finished on site so the filler and the paint match.

Common questions

How long does a fitted wardrobe take?
Six to eight weeks from the day you accept the quote, and one or two days on site to fit. If we are busier than that we will say so before you commit.
Do you work outside Bristol?
Yes, up to about 50 miles — Bath, Gloucester, Weston and the surrounding villages. Beyond 20 miles there is a travel charge, which is on the quote, not a surprise.
What timber do you use?
Mostly European oak, ash and tulipwood, from two merchants we have used for years. For painted work we use tulipwood or MDF panels in a hardwood frame, which is more stable than solid timber under paint.
Can you match existing joinery?
Usually. We take a profile off the existing mouldings and grind a cutter to match, which is the normal way of doing it on period work.
Do you take a deposit?
Yes, 40% to book the slot and buy the timber, and the balance on completion. We do not ask for the full amount up front.
Are you insured?
Yes — public liability to £5 million. The certificate is on the wall in the workshop and we will email it to you if you ask.
What if something goes wrong after fitting?
Everything we make is guaranteed for five years against defects in the making. Timber moves with the seasons; if a door needs easing in the first year we come back and ease it, at no charge.
